PREVIEWS

Tuesday, August 5th - John Sauickie is a Registered Investment Advisor and principal officer of Preservation Capital Group, LLC, where he manages funds for Endowments, Foundations, Corporate Pensions, Trusts and High Net Worth Clients.  He was the Founder and CEO of Titanium Asset Management, which did a $120 million IPO on the London Stock Exchange, and grew the company to over $9 billion in assets under management.  John’s strategies have outperformed the S&P by a compounded 4% per annum with 93% of the volatility of the S&P 500 since 1997 when he was Managing Director and Portfolio Advisor at Merrill Lynch in Princeton, NJ.

His talk will be on Market Risk/Return Strategies and how he views overall market risk and individual security risk. John The will present a general overview of his investment guidelines, strategy, and investment process, which evaluates risk by market segment, geographic risk, and business model risks.  He will discuss how he builds risk adverse portfolios and explain the divergent market sectors and how they perform based upon economic cycles.  He hopes to leave those in attendance with some ideas that can help them to outpace markets, while maintaining a lower volatility risk metric for their portfolios.  He will also cover individual security selection for each portfolio and review the most important factors that lead to outperforming the market.

Tuesday, August 19th - Dr. Joseph Hornberger who has been practicing in Sarasota since 1986 will speak on, "New Natural Solutions To  End Pain".  Graduating with highest honors, he earned his B.S. from Central State University in Wilberforce, Ohio, and his M.S. from the University of Dayton, with degrees in Education and a primary interest in Exercise Physiology, on a full gymnastic scholarship.  He received his D.C. from Life University in Marietta, Georgia.

Dr. Hornberger was selected by the Atlanta Chiropractic Sports Committee as one of only 30 chiropractic physicians from a field of over 350 applicants to treat the athletes at the 1996 Olympic Games.

He was awarded the Florida Southwest Chiropractic Society Civic Award in 1997- 1998 for his noteworthy contributions to his profession.  He has, also, served as the Medical Director and Chiropractic Physician for the Sarasota Ballet, and is a consultant to athletic and rehabilitation programs throughout the United States.
