The Ivy League Club of Sarasota and Manatee Counties is an active group of alumni from all eight Ivy League schools who just happen to live in the beautiful Gulf Coast area of Florida.

Please join or renew your membership in the Ivy League Club today!
Our current program year runs from November 1, 2024 through October 31, 2025.
We offer a Young Alumni membership tier at the rate of $25.00 for alumni who were under 30 years of age as of November 1, 2024. Members over 30 will renew at our regular annual membership rate of $50.00.

*JAN 28, 2025 (4th Tuesday) at 12 noon - Annual Meeting Luncheon at Marina Jack in Sarasota, featuring Dr. Simi Ranajee, a sought-after speaker and consultant. Her strategy firm, IMISCO, utilizes her more than 25 years of expertise in sales, marketing, business development, and communication, with a focus on healthcare, driving multi-million dollar engagements. Philanthropic engagements for Dr. Ranajee include being the Chairman and Founder of Mission Neem 5 (themn5.com) a non-profit that helps women achieve independence through education.
She has served on the American Cancer Society, American Patient Rights Association, and Selah Freedom boards. Her TEDx Talk centers around her journey with cancer, and how to look at trauma through a different lens. Her presentation to the Ivy League Club will address becoming an advocate for your own healthcare. She has received numerous awards and was named one of Chicago’s ‘Rising Stars” by Today’s Chicago Woman.
Dr. Ranajee is a former host of Bombay Broadcast Network, a responsibility of her Ms. India Worldwide title. She has authored two books: The World of Nice and The World of Work.
Dr Ranajee earned her PhD in Public Health and an MBA in Marketing and Finance from University of Illinois-Urbana Champaign and Loyola University. She resides in Lakewood Ranch with her husband and two children.

Please join us for the Sarasota Orchestra's "Heroic Spirit" Masterworks Concert, featuring works by Beethoven, Marquez, and Shostakovich. Acclaimed violinist Anne Akiko Meyers makes her Sarasota Orchestra debut, and new Music Director Designate Giancarlo Guerrero conducts this dynamic program.

Friday, March 14, 2025. Pre-opera Reception starting at 6:15PM in the Selby Bar and Lobby on the Second Floor. Curtain at 7:30PM.
We are looking forward to Gioachino Rossini's beloved comic opera, "The Barber of Seville."
Hilarious complications ensue when Count Alvaro enlists the help of Figaro, the Barber of Seville, to win the heart of the beautiful Rosina.
Ticket sales are now closed!
Purchased tickets will be held at Will Call on day of the performance. Valet parking is available for $10. Sarasota Opera House is located at 61 N Pineapple Avenue in Sarasota.

About the club
Founded in 1957, the Ivy League Club of Sarasota-Manatee is the oldest Ivy League Club in the country, bringing together alumni of Brown, Columbia, Cornell, Dartmouth, Harvard, the University of Pennsylvania, Princeton and Yale around engaging activities including:
- annual sporting events,
- cultural group activities,
- evening networking events and happy hours,
- spring and fall evening cocktail socials,
- monthly luncheons featuring highly engaging speakers on global topics of interest as well as discussions around opportunities and trends within the greater Sarasota-Manatee County, Florida area,
- other Member benefits, including alumni meet-and-greets and volunteer opportunities within the Club and our community at large.
In addition to club activities, the club's Scholarship Fund provides grants to current Ivy League students who require financial aid support. Members who donate $1000 or more join our 1957 Society and are recognized annually in our Printed Membership Directory. Please donate today!
