John Bullock asks the question, “Were Moses and Aaron the First Bioterrorists?” Dr. Bullock is a graduate of Dartmouth College and Harvard Medical School. He did his residency at Yale and sent a son to Princeton. Accordingly, in Sarasota he belongs to the Ivy League Club and the clubs of Dartmouth, Harvard, Yale, and Princeton. He is a research epidemiologist, ophthalmologist, and microbiologist. He has been a university professor, writer, editor, and Navy medical officer.

The Haven is a public charity providing programs and services for children and adults with disabilities. Founded in 1954, it has a preschool, a high school, a half dozen group houses, an employment training and placement center, a health center, and industries and shops. These shops, which provide training and employment as well as funds, include Upscale Retail, Mojo Coffee Bar, Haven Landscaping and Chair Caning, and Haven Bakery and Catering.
